Google Pixel Conference: Smartphone, Smartwatch, What to expect (And How To Watch It)?

It is this Thursday, October 6 at 4 p.m. that Google will present its Pixel 7 and 7 Pro, as well as its first connected watch, the Google Pixel Watch.

After several months of rumors, teasing, but also numerous leaks, Google will finally reveal to the world its hardware line-up for the end of 2022.

Two smartphones and a connected watch are on the program for this event

The main course of this event made by Google will obviously be the official announcement of the new Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro smartphones. The brand has already unveiled the design of its new phones and many leaks have taken care of revealing their characteristics and prices.

The Pixel 7 should offer a technical sheet that is composed as follows:

  • 6.3-inch 90Hz FHD+ display
  • Google Tensor 2 processor
  • 8 GB RAM
  • Dual-camera module with 50-megapixel main and 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor
  • 10.8-megapixel front sensor

The Pixel 7 Pro will offer a larger screen, but also a third photo sensor on the back.

  • 6.7-inch 120Hz QHD+ display
  • Google Tensor 2 processor
  • 12 GB RAM
  • Triple-camera module with 50-megapixel main, 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle and 48-
  • megapixel telephoto sensor with 5x zoom
  • 10.8-megapixel front sensor

Google should logically put the package during this event to praise the new photo capabilities of its two smartphones, with perhaps some surprises in terms of software.

Google will also present its very first connected watch, the Pixel Watch, of which we also know the full technical sheet:

  • 1.6-inch 320 ppi AMOLED display
  • 41mm case
  • Exynos 9110 SoC and Cortex M3 coprocessor
  • 2 GB RAM
  • Google Wear OS 3.5
  • A day of autonomy

Google will only have to show us the different features designed for this watch, such as sports and health monitoring, as well as its interface.
