How to upgrade from Windows 7 to 10

Upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 10 requires no special computer skills. In fact, it is sufficient to download the tool provided by the same company – that is Update Assistant – and then click on ” 

MediaCreationTool.exe ” and then on “Yes”.

After completing the preliminary operations, you will need to press “Accept” and then “Next” when the “Update your PC now” button appears. The installation program will now download Windows 10. Accept the conditions of use, you will have to click on “Install” to not lose any files or on “Change items to keep” to select what to delete or not.

At this point, you will see an installation screen that will do everything automatically. In fact, you will only have to wait for the completion of all the operations and then press “Next” and “Yes” to successfully complete the installation of Windows 10.

How to upgrade from Windows 8 to 10

Some users, although a few years have passed since its debut, may still have Windows 8 as an operating system on their computer. In this case, to upgrade to Windows 10 you need to see if a white flag is ticked in the system notification area.

In this case, simply click on this icon and then on “Book your free update”. Subsequently, the update will be downloaded and installed directly via Windows Update.
