Within the smartphone world, the best mobile processors they continue to be one of the most sought-after features by those who bet on high-performance mobile phones. This sector does not stop innovating and launching new SoCs on the market that improves their power in gaming and in the use of certain applications.
One of the next that we will see on the market is the Mediatek Dimensity 9200, a gaming processor with Arm Immortalis-G715 GPU that, according to what they point out, will be 15% faster and more energy efficient than its predecessor. We will see this with its release next month along with the Vivo X90, in charge of giving free rein to this new high-performance mobile processor.
Mediatek Dimensity 9200: with Cortex-X3 GPU and Immortalis 715
MediaTek is preparing to release the Dimensity 9200 SoC next month, according to IceUniverse. With ARM’s Cortex-X3 at the helm, it promises a 25% performance boost over its predecessor.
Replacing the Cortex-X2 should give you about a 25% increase in performance. Cortex-A715 and A510 v.2 are also expected to complete the SoC. It’s not a surprise though, as MediaTek is following in the footsteps of what we expect from the new Qualcomm with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. This one, by the way, will also be released next month, so we’re looking forward to making a comparison performance between both SoCs.
Mediatek Dimensity 9200 will arrive in the new Vivo X90
The one in charge of equipping this new Mediatek Dimensity 9200 will be the Vivo X90, a mobile that we can get both with the Dimensity 9200 and with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
Everything indicates that it will be the MediaTek model that will emerge victorious from the comparisons. Especially seeing that the Vivo X90 Pro+ has been able to compete with beasts like the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra.
Do you think Mediatek Dimensity 9200 will outperform Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in performance?
