Samsung new One UI 5

Samsung has been testing it’s new One UI 5 and Android 13 for a few weeks now. This is the new version that will reach the brand’s smartphones and which bring a lot of new features to the brand’s equipment.

Now, during its Samsung Developer Conference 2022 (SDC22), the news that everyone has been waiting for has emerged. One UI 5 and Android 13 are a reality and will soon arrive on the brand’s smartphones.

After Google released Android 13, Samsung also looked at this system and started the preparation of the final version of One UI 5. This will incorporate all the news prepared and add some of the ones that the brand has prepared for this new version.

Now, this one is officially presented and finished. Samsung has now revealed this step and given One UI 5 as ready to move to its smartphones. It will be this month that the S22 receives the novelty and the first system update from Google.

One of the most visible novelties will be the ability to customize One UI 5. This will make the lock screen more user-friendly, with new widgets and a great possibility to add user and system information.

Bixby Text Call will be an important help for users, acting as an intermediary for voice calls. This will be able to answer and handle common parts of calls that are normally received by users.

One UI 5 will also bring the part of Routines, which will allow users to define flows for their actions. You will be able to adjust settings, notification preferences, apps, and other details automatically, depending on location or time of day.

As we mentioned before, One UI 5 will be made available to the S22 at the end of this month of October. The new version will then be extended to other smartphones, thus bringing Android 13 and its news, starting the expected update process for Samsung equipment.
