Schenker launches a laptop with 14-core CPU and RTX 3080
The Vision 16 laptop not only has great hardware, but it also has a great ultra-slim design, which is only 17.1mm thick, which is quite an engineering achievement.
The laptop has two versions, Vision 16 and 16 Pro, which are both offering great performance in portability, low weight, and capacity.
The screen has a panel with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, a luminance of 350 nits, and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. Meanwhile, the ‘Pro’ model has a refresh rate of 240 Hz.
Inside we find a 14-core Alder Lake Core i7-12700H CPU with an RTX 3080 from Nvidia. The CPU consists of 6 performance cores at 4.70 GHz, and about 8 efficiency cores up to 3.5 GHz. The integrated graphics is Intel Xe and the PBP is about 45W. The Vision 16 model is the only one with dedicated RTX 3050 Ti graphics, while the Pro model has the options of RTX 3060 6GB, RTX 3070 Ti 8GB, or RTX 3080 with 16GB of GDDR6 memory.
The Vision 16 model has about 16 GB of DDR4-3200 RAM, while the Pro model has DDR5-4800 memory. It also has two M2-2280 SSD drives with PCIe 4.0 x4 interface. Both devices are user upgradeable.
Equipment like this needs good cooling, so Schenker added about three heat pipes and two blowers.
In terms of connectivity, the two models have two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a USB Type-C connector, two USB 3.0 Type-A ports, plus an HDMI 2.1 output. Wireless connectivity consists of Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0.
